Kolkata: In West Bengal, a father was brutally tortured to death by a brutal accused to stop his daughter from being teased. Police registered a case against two accused.
According to details, a 35-year-old man was tortured to death by two local youths in West Bengal’s Howrah district when he tried to stop them from molesting his minor daughter.
According to Indian media, the police have arrested one of the two suspects, while the other suspect managed to escape.
According to the police, the matriculation student was returning home from matriculation class yesterday evening when two accused who were on the way stopped her and tried to molest her.
As soon as the information was received, the girl’s father reached the spot and when he resisted reprimanding the accused after aggravating words during this time, the two accused tortured him mercilessly and continued to beat- throwing him to the ground.
The injured person was bleeding profusely from the head, after which the accused left him there and fled the scene. The injured man was taken to hospital for medical attention where he died during treatment.
Local police officials say the case includes charges of murder and various provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act.
