Quetta: After light rains and snowfall in the capital of Balochistan, the weather turned cold but the temperature soared above the freezing point.
According to Express News, light rain and snow fell in Quetta and Mastung on Saturday and the weather turned cold. A minimum temperature of 1 degree Celsius was recorded in Quetta.
According to the Meteorological Department, the highest temperature was recorded at minus 3 degrees Celsius in Ziarat and 0 degrees Celsius in Kalat. Apart from this, there was light snowfall in the Pak-Afghan border area of Barabcha, while there was light rain in and around Dalbandin.
PDMA and rescue teams are on the roads to clear the snow and ensure the flow of traffic.
