Former federal minister of Pakistan Faisal Vavda has said that ex-spy Faiz Hameed was the mastermind of the corruption case that Imran Khan is currently facing. Talking to reporters, Vavda said, today it is necessary to tell the country that in the case of corruption where Imran is the beneficiary, Faiz Hameed was his mastermind.
He said that it was a very small case and when further investigations are done, many big crimes will be revealed. Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said on Wednesday in light of the May 9 protests against the arrest of party chief Imran Khan in connection with a £190 million settlement case, “As the country’s political crisis deepens, the current government of Pakistan is considering a ban of Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Asif said that if the government finally decides to ban the former ruling party, the matter will be sent to Parliament for approval.
