Former Bihar Chief Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav’s health condition has worsened. He has been suffering from illness for a long time and was admitted to the hospital recently after he slipped and fell at home. As the situation became alarming by Wednesday, arrangements were made to transfer him to AIIMS in Delhi by helicopter. Lalu’s son, Bihar opposition leader Tejaswiad said that if necessary, they will take him to Singapore for treatment. CM Nitish Kumar visited Lalu today.

Lalu Prasad Yadav is likely to be shifted from Patna to AIIMS in Delhi this evening. Last week, Lalu slipped while climbing the stairs in his house. He was shifted to Paras Hospital in Patna for urgent treatment. Doctors confirmed that Lalu’s shoulder and spine were severely injured.

Before moving to Delhi, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar consulted Lalu today.
