Singapore City:Renowned Indian politician and former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, 74, underwent a kidney transplant operation in Singapore.
According to Indian media, former Federal Railways Minister and former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav underwent a successful kidney transplant. His daughter Rohini Acharya donated her kidney. Father and daughter are doing well after the operation.
The kidney transplant was done in a hospital in Singapore. His middle daughter Rohini Acharya is staying in Singapore and told her in October that I will donate my kidney to my father and the operation will be done in Singapore.
Lalu Prasad Yadav, who is out on bail in corruption cases, has been ill for some time. In October, he went to Singapore to undergo a kidney transplant operation, but had to return to India after his bail expired.
On arrival in India, he was granted medical bail due to kidney failure and reached Singapore where he underwent a kidney transplant today. Both father and daughter are currently in the intensive care unit.
After the pope’s kidney transplant operation was successful, he was moved from the operating room to the ICU.

Lalu Prasad Yadav is the uncrowned king of the state of Bihar and one of his sons and a daughter are still the deputy chief minister of the state and a member of the Rajya Sabha respectively.
