Pakistan has struggled to maintain relations with the Kremlin and Washington since the Russia-Ukraine crisis began last year.
“The IMF Standby Arrangement for Pakistan is a successful negotiation between Pakistan and the IMF to make difficult but important economic reforms. Giving any color to these negotiations is pointless,” Dawn News quoted Baloch as saying.
Baloch said Pakistan maintained a policy of “strict neutrality” in the conflict between the two countries and did not supply them with any weapons or ammunition in such situations.
“Pakistan’s defense exports are always accompanied by end-user requirements,” he said.
During a visit to Pakistan in July, Ukraine’s foreign minister, Dmytro Kuleba, denied similar reports that the cash-strapped country was supplying weapons to Ukraine to support its military during the ongoing conflict with Russia, according to Dawn.
