Pakistan’s former prime minister Imran Khan was arrested on May 9 on corruption charges. His arrest had caused violence in the country. PTI workers and supporters took to the streets and damaged public and private property, including military installations, buildings and also set arson. However, he was later released on bail by order of the court.
