Rasika Duggal, who plays the powerful character of Veena Tripathi in Mirzapur, has started shooting for the show which is coming back for the third season. The actor posted a video on Instagram. Mirzapur has become a cult show with thousands of fans and Dugal has been receiving accolades for her performance in it since the first season. He shared a video on Instagram showing the trunks with actors’ names written on them. In the video, he wrote, “We are getting ready” in Hindi.

Talking about the series, Rasika said, “I am looking forward to reuniting with the cast and I am happy to have Gurmeet direct us this season as well. It is a relief to have a director who knows the characters and world of the story inside and out. Divyan and Gul Ji will be missed!”
In Mirzapur, she was able to portray the character of a young woman from a small town in UP, denying her the power to change the narrative of many events in the series with great subtlety. His iconic dialogues have already made him a fan favorite and followers are excited to find out whether or not he will succeed in navigating through the patriarchal nation and finally achieve his goal.
Mirzapur Season 3 also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Ali Fazal, Shweta Tripathi, Vijay Varma and Isha Talwar and is backed by Excel Entertainment, the production house of Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani.
