Eknath Shinde Uddhav Thackeray, who is considered special from Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray to Uddhav Thackeray in Maharashtra, spoiled the whole game. Shiv Sena chief lashes out in Mumbai MLAs, on the other hand, are warned that they will be thrown in the trash even by their mouthpiece ‘Saamna’. In view of all this, it is no exaggeration to say that Maharashtra’s political drama has lagged behind Bollywood films in terms of entertainment. Uddhav Thackeray is trying his best to retain his chair and stop the Shiv Sena from joining the rebel camp, but the news that the MLAs are moving sideways is stalling.
The Shiv Sena chief did not even know that Uddhav Thackeray was joining the camp of rebel leader Eknath Shinde coming out from under his nose. The Shiv Sena does not understand what to do and what to say in this rage. The Shiv Sena, in an editorial in its official journal ‘Saamna’, described the current political storm as a ‘dream come true’. The party warned their Rebels to be careful on time, otherwise they would be thrown in the trash.
Well, the Shiv Sena may be openly showing a tough attitude towards the insurgents, but on the ground it is looking for them on the streets of Mumbai. Such an exciting event came to light on Tuesday (21 June 2022) night. Shiv Sena activists have been on the hunt for Maharashtra minister and senior Shiv Sena leader Gulabrao Patil all night. But he managed to escape them and reached Eknath Shinde, who is currently staying at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Guwahati, Assam. Shinde himself declared the support of 46 MLAs. Of whom 6-7 are also independents.
According to reports, Uddhav Thackeray had ordered his activists in South Mumbai to search for Patil, a senior leader of the camp, anyway. According to the Indian Express, Shiv Sena troops from south Mumbai, led by Branch Chief Pandurang Sakpal, immediately launched an operation and launched an overnight search operation to track down Patil.
On June 21, Shiv Sena activists tried their best to capture Patil, but to no avail. When the Shiv Sena soldiers first went to the hotel where the MLA was staying, no one was seen there. However, under pressure from the High Command, party workers roamed the streets of South Mumbai overnight, ordering the arrest of Uddhav Thackeray Patil. Activists decided to camp outside the Patil bungalow in south Mumbai. There he was finally caught on Wednesday (22 June 2022) morning.
The party worker said, “We got a call at 11 pm and were told to look for Patil. We searched everywhere for him, including the St. Regis Hotel in Lower Parel, but could not find him. After that we decided to camp outside his house in the morning. We were able to catch them around 8.30am on Wednesday morning. Upon seeing Sakpal Patil, you insisted on talking to Uddhav Thackeray.
Patil also stayed for an hour and a half, misleading the Shiv Sena and saying, “I have already spoken to the party chief. He has some work to do in the cabinet. After that go to Varsha Bangla to meet the Chief Minister. After this the Shiv Sena also convinced Uddhav Thackeray to visit his official residence Varsha Bangla soon. However, Patil did not go towards Varsha and escaped in his personal car, avoiding the Shiv Sainiks. Shiv Sena activists chased him, but by then he had disappeared. Patil was seen in Guwahati along with other rebel Shiv Sena MLAs.
Let me tell you that this crisis in the Shiv Sena is no longer limited to MLAs. It is learned that some of the party MPs were also angry over Uddhav’s behavior. The party has 19 MPs. 9 of whom are reported to be outraged. He also says goodbye to the Shiv Sena. However, none of these MPs have yet publicly spoken their minds and are waiting for the time.
